The Oldest

This boy's heart is made of gold.  He tries to do what is right.  He is helpful.  He can be counted on.

One of my favorite things about this little boy is that he has courage.  Courage to do hard things and courage to stand up for what he believes.  He has courage to do the right and courage to try new things.

He also loves adventure, being a leader and playing games.  He is a natural leader and leads to do good.

He beams when he is told he is anything like his dad, which he is.  He is proud of who he is.  He loves good people and meshes well with them.  He is not willing to let his standards down to play with someone who is mean spirited.  When he finds a friend that is loyal, trustworthy and good, he gives his loyalty back to them and will bend over backward for them.

Adults notice him.  They notice his kindness, patience and knowledge.  They mention it to me often. He stands out because of his grandness.  He stands out because of his testimony of Christ.

He will also do anything for his family. He is full of service.  I feel so blessed to have this boy lead his brothers.  He is full of teaching moments.  I look at his little brothers and I see them admire him.  They love him and want to be with him.  They want to be like him and I couldn't think of a better boy to lead them.  Glenn and I are raising men and Christian is guiding them.

I'm thankful for Christian and I feel his name fits him perfectly as a believer and follower of Christ.

I love you Christian.
