I have come to accept that I'm just going to have to write down what I plan to eat the day before. I have done this in the past and it works well for me. After awhile I can stop writing everything, but I'm definately not at the point.
So what point am I at? Well, I had a 9 pound baby and 10 ounces and had a lot of amniotic fluid so I lost about 20 pounds in the first few days after m y dear baby was born. I do not have a scale at home so I haven't weighed myself for a week or two (he was born on March 20th), but I fit into a lot of my fat jeans and get a lot of compliments from others, especially my hubby. My husband doesn't give comments that he doesn't mean so that means a lot. Here is the thing though, my metabolism is in top gear right now and so I want to eat well so that I can get rid of extra fat. I don't want to cut huge calories, but I want the ones that I do eat to be healthy.
I'm ready to be healthy. It is not all about weight right now. During this pregnancy I had some physical problems and that was hard for me. I have always been very healthy and active and I love that. After I had the baby my back was very sore and I couldn't walk well for a week or two. I'm so thankful that I can move and I want to preserve my health.
So it is going to be hard to plan everything that I need to eat especially tonight because I need to go to the store (well my hubby does - I hate grocery shopping and he likes it so we are a good pair). We don't have a lot of food to choose from.
I will try to take time to plan tomorrowa good shopping list and game plan.
In the meantime, here are some things I can do.
breakfast is cereal, banana and milk
snack is apple and peanut butter
lunch is carrots and 2 pieces of cheese pizza
snack is apple and 1 piece of pizza
dinner is main dish with two vegetables
floating snack is glass of oj and a granola bar
The vitamins I want to take are multi, C, E and B-multi, and calcium
Here I go to a healthier me.
