A little about my family

I’m not sure if I should start with the stitches or the bike crash or going to Tooele, but now that I think of it those things just happened yesterday and most of you haven’t been filled in on our lives for a couple of months. So here is a brief update.

I am no longer fearing that 1yo will have a tan line from his binkie in the summer. He has been binkie free for five days now. It is like any addiction, you count the number of days you have been clean and his total is five. We are really proud of him. He even stayed away from the temptation through a new tooth, a fever, a rash and stitches.

3 yo is bored to death in primary and puts his head on his ands and rolls it from side to side. If anyone can get so bored they stop existing I think I will find out soon, but he stayed in the entire time this week and that is a milestone. I think it helped that hubby told him they would make cookies if he would stay. He still mentions to anyone who will listen that I ran over his cat.

6 yo is nursing a wound from a bike crash and, when he remembers, he limps. He had his hair cut like AVATAR (a cartoon character that I didn’t know about either until a few weeks ago), collects the plastic bands they put around your wrist when we go to the community pool and has his second loose tooth.

Five years ago hubby and I packed our only child, up in the car and happened to pass a yard sale. We decided to stop and to our surprise we found a table with a leaf and four chairs for only $25 and that included delivery. That dear table has been with us in three different homes and through two moves and now it is time to say goodbye. It has served us well, but it is time to move on. We are thankful that IKEA is now just a hop, skip, and a jump away and they have saved us from our garage sale table and three chairs (One of them couldn’t quite keep it’s fourth leg intact and was replaced by a folding chair – now that is class!).

I will post a bit about our everyday lives when I think of it.
